FEATHER FALLS HIKE This hike is one of the finest in the upper Sacramento Valley. A moderately strenous 10+ mile trail takes you through densely shaded forest to Feather Falls, which drops 640' off a granite face cliff. This fall is rated the 6th tallest waterfall in the U.S. With over 150" of rain falling into the Feather River watershed this season, the volume of water plummeting over the edge was immense and magnificent. |
